The Cat and the Canary (DVD)

Comedy horror directed by Radley Metzger and starring Honor Blackman, Michael Callan and Edward Fox. The family of a recently deceased old man gather in his old home in order to sort out the matter of inheritance. When the man's last will and testament are read aloud by an attorney however, it becomes clear that the man despised his family and had no intention of meekly passing on his estate to them. His will has been devised so that his heirs must fight it out amongst themselves if they are to claim their inheritance and all of this becomes even more dangerous when they realise that they are not alone in the house.
