Scientific documentary series presented by Professor Brian Cox. Professor Cox traces the origins of human life from its humble beginnings as a group of apes to try and answer some of the most pertinent questions to man's existence. His search takes him across the world to draw upon the latest scientific theories and technology to provide an answer to questions such as are we alone in the universe, how exactly did the human brain evolve and what is our purpose here on Earth?
