Nancy Arnold has written poetry most of her life, and even sent one of her poems to President Gerald Ford for the bicentennial when she was young. It was a hard life growing up with a mentally ill mother and a father who worked long hours. Many disappointments and challenges beset her, yet she is a survivor.
