Most heartily I unite in the wish 'that the whole Church ot Christ on earth would arise in her proper strength, ' and lay herself down upon her work, and especially 'leave no part unvisited with the Gospel.' This last is of great importance in the interests of the future welfare of our infant churches. "It is a point that has not received that full consideration which it needs, and which I believe it will yet receive. "If other missions are like our Bechuanaland mission, then there are, lying all over the mission field, numerous small places--villages and hamlets--and also, what is a more serious matter, many not inconsiderable towns, almost entirely, if not altogether, uncultivated.
