Navelgas (Mi u) is one of 44 parishes (administrative divisions) in Tineo, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain. It is 21.69 km2 (8.37 sq mi) in size, with a population of 467 (INE 2004). It is the home of the Asturias Gold Museum. An autonomous community (Spanish: Comunidad Aut noma, IPA: komuni a au tonoma]) is the first-level political division of the Kingdom of Spain, established in accordance with the current Spanish Constitution (1978). The second article of the constitution recognizes the rights of "nationalities and regions" to self-government and declares the "indissoluble unity of the Spanish nation."
