Hubudi (Paperback)

A man wakens in an amazonian jungle, somewhere in Africa, most likely a tourist's trail of sorts. He's wearing a clean 1,800 dollar sweatsuit and an oddly out of place pair of ruffed up, rugged sandals. He stands up to recall how he got here, remembering that he had a digenerative gene passed on to him from his father that was most likely to cause alzheimer's. He also remembers the last time he was in a public place and watched, matter of factly, when the latest discovery was announced on the news, alchohol is the leading cause of alzheimers. The man wonders how long he'd been boozing this time, he is obviously worth millions from the clothes he has on. The money from a trust fund, a few million dollars, enough to do whatever the hell he wanted. An adventurer is what he had always wanted to be, he just never figured he'd end up more of a drunk than an adventurer. What's more fun than exploring the world while you're wasted This time though he'd done it. He leans up against what looks like a tourist exhibit. A tomb. Fenced of and marked with a brass studded silver plaque that reads, "Who but I can reveal the secrets of the unhewn dolmen? Who but I can make known the ages of the moon? Who but I can know the secret resting place off the sun?" He then thinks to himself, "Who but I wakes up in the jungle with a 1,800 sweat suit on and a beat up pair of sandals I probably stole from some homeless guy?" Though he never would steal from anyone, he was a man of true heart. His adventure will start, and may end at this tomb as he traces his path and shaky memory to his destiny. He will come to find the tribe who named him Hubudi, and the sandals... Well you will have to wait and find out why he has those sandals on. A good memory needs a good marker. He will lead the way in bridging the gap of worldy seperation. He finds himself on a journey to bring the planet back to life by erasing racial segregation and social degredation. Finding the power in the human spirit to move actual mountains with but the faith of a mustard seed. It may not be plate tectonics after all, but our differences, fear and seperation. The Earth as we know it will come to be know as a true reflexion of our mentalities as the human race. Hubudi will unlock the secret mystery of human nature and restore power back to ourselves and our planet, which will in turn pull our divided continents back together and soon the planets and universe. All will become one. Everyone will see the beauty of human life and the power and potential of human spirit as we follow Hubudi on his journey into the forgotten realm of knowledge that he finds and re-members piece by piece.
