The Big Store (Paperback)

The Big Store is a tongue-in-cheek spoof of how mass merchandising stores really work _ from the inside. It is seen from the eyes of the vision center, and it pokes fun at not only the employees, but also the customers. It follows choice ones through the grand opening to the fifth year and examines lives as they change. The doctor is caught up in never-ending change at work and at home. The tale follows her anticipation of a new position to a downward spiral of events which leads to a humorous keystone cop type ending where a group of her friends raid the vision center for the files when she escapes the loony bin.
