High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The Wahnapitae First Nation is an Ojibwa First Nation in the Canadian province of Ontario, who primarily reside on the 1,036 hectares (2,560 acres) Wahnapitae (or Wanapitei) 11 reserve on the northwestern shore of Lake Wanapitei. The First Nation is a signatory to the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850 as the Tahgaiwenene's Band. Total membership of the First Nation as of June 2003 was 326, with an on-reserve population of 52 in the Canada 2006 Census.
