Jim Carter is the father of two grown children. He and Susan, his bride of thirty one years, live in northern Virginia. Jim flies for a major airline. Between Bible study, horses and visiting children in Texas and South Carolina, he and Susan are living the "next nest" as opposed to the "empty nest" life style.
