Seaplane - Seeflugzeug (Paperback)

The story begins in 1938 at Brandenburg Gate, Germany. Assembled there, that day, were Adolf Hitler and his notorious gang of 'cut-throats.' It was Heinrich Himmler who arranged the parade, intent on reviving dwindling patriotism. Adolf and Rudy (Hess), friends since WWI, were soldiers both wounded in France. "It was I," Hess bragged," who coined the phrase 'Heute Deutschland Morgandewelt' (Today Germany, Tomorrow the World). "We will cram that cigar right down Winnie's (Churchill) throat!" "And Russia, what about them?" Hess asked. "Sub-humans!" Adolf sneered. "They will become our slaves." "And then, there's the United States," Hitler's mood suddenly turned dark. "Those rich bastards are all criminals!" "Very rebellious; the mongrels of the world." "That may all be true," his friend said, "but you've told me many times, give me a mongrel dog in a fight." "I intend to strike at the underbelly of their society, with acts of sabotage," Hitler said. "I will destroy America's morale at the beginning." "As you know," Hess said, "we already have agents in the United States, but they are hoodlums, and not very smart." "Now here's what I want you to do," Hitler concluded, "I want you to seek out people with class and brains to complete this mission." With typical German efficiency, two likelysubjects were selected. Colonel Otto Bremmer, a thirty-eight-year-old distinguished career officer, and the voluptuous seventeen-year-old blonde beauty named Heidi Krause. Heidi was just completing her senior year of high school looking forward to the 1940 Olympics as a h
