This series covers national research on the Socialist legal system which the Chinese government has aimed at perfecting. The series studies the current situation and the characteristics of such a legal system, analyzes the problems of China's legal system and the possible solutions, and explores the development trends of the Chinese legal system. Volume 3 analyzes China's Civil and Commercial Law System. The whole book consists of four sections, the first section introduces China's Civil Law (mainly examines the origin, structure, general provisions, personal rights law, family law, law of succession, property law, contract law, and tort law). The second section discusses the civil code by specifying China's future path of building the civil code system. The third section elaborates on China's Intellectual Property Law, and the fourth section discusses China's Commercial Law in great detail.
