Nexus Tales (Hardcover)

More can be said here than in the book, so make sure you print out this description and slip it into your copy of John Ashton's "Nexus Tales" There is something very perverse about how John Ashton writes and if it hasn't already been explained to you, please let us do the honors. As publishers of some of John Ashton's books, we feel obligated to tell you that not everyone can understand him. In order to understand him, ask yourself this one single question: Am I qualified to understand him or am I a guinea pig for his overtures on society's fall from grace and how many witches have been burnt in the last two centuries? This current book, "Nexus Tales," resolves both issues. At once, we feel that we are present for a witch burning and simultaneously we feel as if we might be the one on the stake. Ironically, it seems, John Ashton has a penchant for describing the morbid and deliberate prenuptial disgrace that man wallows in before he is either beheaded or taken with bowels disgorged and wound tight on a spool. Man cannot pass through this life without having been reconciled by Mr. Ashton and his tendency to allow us passage but not without a little hand slap here and there. Diamonds exist both rough and cut and this diamond cuts like needles in the mind and sandpaper on our privates. To quote John Ashton's own description of his work: "Nexus Tales is about the crossover between the world you are in and the outside world of other forces. It represents the 'nexus' place between this place and beyond, where the boundaries are blurred and are not exactly clear. The words in this book hold a 'charge' or gate of ionization that makes them attractive or magnetic in a way. They are all 'Nexus Tales' or places just beyond the threshold of consciousness that we just can't get our minds and hands around but we know that something is there just beyond the curtain of death and transparency." May you find an eternity of grace after having delivered yourself from this apparent disgrace. Enjoy Ashton while you can before the devil takes his hand. Best of luck from Rodaian Press in Laguna Beach, California. 6" x 9," 156 pages or beheading, Black and White; Hardcover with dust jacket with excellent typography. Published without karma. http: //www.Rodaian.com/
