Retrospections of an Active Life V2 1863 to 1865 (Hardcover)

1910. Part Two of Three. Bigelow recounts his life and career as American journalist and diplomat. He graduated at Union College and took up the practice of law in New York for several years, which he gave up to turn to journalistic work; becoming the joint owner (with William Cullen Bryant) and managing editor of the New York Evening Post.
