And it is abfolute, beca ufe all the Creatures have what they have from God, and all depend upon his Goodnefs, and therefore-they owe all polfible Duty and perpetual Subjection ib long as they continue in Being, becauie it is iolely by his Ptiwer and Goodness, that they continue; and therefore whatever Right or Title any one can pretend to 'any Perfon or Thing, that God hath to all things; in Deo omnes tituli omnia juraconcurran So tha t Soveraigntj and Dominion, lignifies a full Right and Title and propriety in all his Creatures, and an'abiblute Authority over them, to overti them and difpofe of them, and deal with them in any way he pleaieth, that is not contrary to his eiTential Dignity arid Per; fe&ion, or repugnant to the Natural State and Condition of the Creature. And for. our better underftanding of this, and the preventing of Miftakes which Men are apr to fall into about the Soveraignty of God, I will fliew, L Wherein it doth not confift. And, Sam. 7.
