Alexandru Iulian Maxim (born 8 July 1990 in Piatra Neam ) is a Romanian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for the Romanian Liga I team Pandurii T rgu Jiu. He made his debut for the national team on 30 May 2012, in a friendly game against Switzerland. He started his football career with local side Olimpia Piatra Neam before moving to Ardealul Cluj in 2004, where he played alongside Mihai R du and Vlad Chiriche .
