THIRD READING OF BILLS. Mr. Allen, AllmaD, Ashmun, Bacon, Blodgett, Brooks, Brown, Brownell, CalhouD, Chase, Clark, Cook, Combes, Crosby, J. M. Davis, W. Davis, Erskine, Fargo, Germain, NAYS. Mr. How, Mr. Mussey, Mr. Speaker, 3 Title agreed to. On motion of Mr. House, By a vote of two-thirds of all the members elect the bill was ordered to take immediate effect. Mr. Goodwin moved that the bill which passed the House this forenoon, entitled a bill A bill to amend an act entitled "an act to provide for assessing propperty at its true value, and for levying and collecting taxes thereon," approved February 14th, 1853, and an act amendatory thereto, approved February 12th, 1855, Be ordered to take effect 30 days after its approval by the Governor. On which motion Mr. Beecher called the yeas and nays, which were ordered. Two-thirds of all the members elect not voting therefor, the bill was not ordered to take effect in 30 days after its approval by the Governor by yeas and nays as follows: YEAS.
