Children's Book Corner (Paperback)

The Children's Book Corner series contains four volumes, each targeted for a specific grade level range and age group: pre-kindergarten and kindergarten; grades 1 and 2; grades 3 and 4; and grades 5 and 6. The books contains dozens of age-appropriate read-alouds including picture books, novels, and longer chapter books. They provide everything necessary to create a great read-aloud program: book lists and book selection ideas, as well as questions and activities appropriate for before, during, and after the reading sessions.

Author and teacher Judy Bradbury supplies parent pull-out pages with helpful tips for duplication, helpful appendices, and a handy index. Other features include "Up Close and Personal," a section of personal notes from children's authors discussing their books featured in the read-aloud section. Volume 4 for grades 5 and 6 also includes "Write Away," a section providing writing tips and activities.
