Landfall 208 - New Age (Paperback)

The winning entries of the fourth Landfall Essay competition will be published in Landfall 208. The purpose of the competition remains as it was when first run in 1997: to encourage New Zealand writers to think aloud about New Zealand culture, and to sustain the tradition of vivid, contentious and creative essay writing in this country - as embodied in the non-fiction of the early Landfall contributors such as Bill Pearson, in the essays of past winners of this competition, and in the essays the journal continues to publish. The 2004 Landfall Essay Competition is judged by esteemed writer, Vincent O'Sullivan.
