KMP Basic is a flexible resource for the Numeracy Hour providing material to teach tasks with clearly defined objects. The scheme also works particularly well during those parts of the lesson when pupils are working independently of the teacher, either in-groups or on their own. KMP Basic is a resource bank of 114 tasks presented in four modules. KMP Basic provides the means for the teacher to plan, monitor, assess and record the progress of every pupil. Some tasks are intended for pupils to work in twos or larger groups as indicated by the symbol on the left top of each task card.
