Excellent machine- really sturdy and quite pretty. Has a nice large bowl so I can do just about anything in it from making cookies, batter for multiple layer cakes and knead a good quantity of dough (Doesn’t move around when kneading dough). I think the version with the smaller bowl would have limited me in what I could make in it. The splash guard works great and has a large flap that opens so you can add ingredients while the machine runs but without the risk of excessive splashing. I got the glass blender free with it but I don't use it much because it's a bit heavy for me. I bought the multi-mill attachment and it works great for milling spices (not turmeric) and oats. If you can find the flexi beater attachment for this machine it's fantastic. This is a robust machine for serious bakers who want to make life a whole lot easier and is very much cheaper and more powerful (if my research is correct) than the more colourful and “trendy” KitchenAid machines
