There are more slaves today than at any other time in human history. This may surprise many people in the world, but this is true. Not only slavery or human trafficking, but other similar-related atrocities affected over 27 million people around the world today. Although it is invisible to our eyes, victims of human trafficking and slavery are increasing every day, every second in our own backyards where we eat, live, and work. This book is written to help children and adults see what a free person should be able to do. There are many ways we can end this great injustice, but it takes each person doing their part - from raising awareness, to changing our shopping habits to helping those in need get help.
