Kurupt hails originally from Philadelphia and has also recorded as Tha Kingpin, Kalhoon and Young Gotti. After moving to California as a teenager he became friends with Snoop Doggy Dogg. This lead to appearances on Dr Dre?s classic album The Chronic and Snoop?s debut album Doggy Style. Following on from this he teamed up with Daz Dillinger to form Tha Dogg Pound who released their debut Dogg Food in 1995. Whilst continuing to work with Tha Dogg Pound he has now released three solo albums: Kuruption, Tha Street Iz A Mutha and Space Boogie: Smoke Oddessey. G-TV follows Kurupt in his day to day life in South Central LA. It gives exclusive access to the likes of Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Daz Dillinger, Tha Eastsidaz, Tha Alkoholiks, Kokane and many more. It contains performances of unreleased tracks and numerous freestyles by Kurupt and his fellow Gangstas.
