He currently plays for Trabzonspor. He is known under the nickname Alanzinho. Alanzinho is primarily known for his pacy dribbling as well as having a knack for scoring goals. He played an important part during Stab k's title winning season in 2008, winning both NISO's player of the year award - an award where every league player cast a vote - and the Kniksen midfield of the year award.
