I never intended to write poetry. It just happened. I was a single parent for many years with a full time career as well. The two children and I did many activities together. A lot of funny things happened to us. And we made friends with the wildlife...outside the front door. I stored these happenings, stories and thoughts inside my head. Safely tucked away for many years. Then one Saturday morning, poems and prose started pouring out Like a faucet that couldn't be stopped There were six that day. As more concerns and beliefs came to surface, I wrote about them. Sometimes rhyming, sometimes not. Skills and techniques were learned and developed.
