M rz 1946, Yendi, Ghana) ist ein Politiker in Ghana. Zurzeit hat er das zweith chste Amt des Staates, die Vizepr sidentschaft, nach Pr sident John Agyekum Kufuor inne. Mahama stammt aus der Northern Region Ghanas. Mahama studierte an der Government Secondary School in Tamale zwischen 1960 und 67 und erzielte hier das Advanced Level Zertifikat. Nach seinem Abschluss schrieb er sich in die Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi ein. Zwischen 1967 und 1971 arbeitete er an seinem Bachelor in Geb udetechnologie (Building Technology).
