Almora ist eine t rkische Symphonic-Metal-Band, die 2001 in Istanbul gegr ndet wurde. Almora entstand im Jahr 2001 aus einem Musikprojekt des t rkischen Musikers Soner Can zer. Im folgenden Jahr ver ffentlichte die Band erst die EP Standing Still & Cyrano und anschlie end ihr Deb talbum Gates of Time, welches, wie auch alle weiteren Alben, beim t rkischen Label Zihni M zik erschien. Mit ihrem zweiten Album Kalihora's Song ver ffentlichte die Band erstmalig auch ein Album au erhalb der T rkei, was f r einen zus tzlichen Bekanntheitszuwachs sorgte.
