Natalio played his first years as a professional with lowly outfits, being bought by third division's CD Castell n in 2005, and spending his first year on loan to FC Cartagena, also in that level. Returning for 2006-07, with Castell n now in the second division, Natalio netted a team-best 15 goals, as the club managed to retain its league status. In that summer, he signed with UD Almer a for its first top flight season. He made his competition debut on 15 September 2007, playing 20 minutes in a 1-3 loss at Real Madrid, but ultimately failed to settle at the Andalusians, being consecutively loaned for the duration of his contract; he also did not manage to score for the club in the league.
