He started soccer in the ranking of the regional Apollonas Kalamata and he began to play in the Fourth Division, he closed inside the youth team. In 1994, he took part in the chief club of the city, Kalamata FC. With that club, he played for seven seasons until 2001, mainly in the Second and ranked into the First Divisions.Separately he played on the team which entered the European championships in 1997.
