His appointments include Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Singers commencing January 2011, and Principal Conductor of leading period orchestra The Hanover Band from 2007 to 2010.For the past seven years he has enjoyed a successful portfolio as conductor (Britten Sinfonia, Manchester Camerata, St James's Baroque, Ulster Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Singers, The Hanover Band), Professor at the Royal Academy of Music(academic studies and conducting) and Director of Music at All Saints, Margaret Street . He was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music in 2007 for 'distinction in the music profession'.
