Gmina Chodzie is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Chodzie County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Chodzie, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of 212.74 square kilometres (82.1 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 5,407. Chodzie County (Polish: powiat chodzieski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Greater Poland Voivodeship, west-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998.
