The company owns three hotel/casinos along I-15 at the California state line in Primm, Nevada. Primm Valley Resorts is a wholly owned subsidiary of Herbst Gaming. The hotels are a popular stop on the drive between Las Vegas and California. The various hotels are connected across I-15 by both a monorail and an amusement train (defunct). The hotels were built by the Primm family at Stateline, Nevada, the informal name for the area. The family's history in the area is the reason the area received the official name, Primm. Logo used from 1999 to 2007 prior to the acquisition from Herbst Gaming. Whiskey Pete's was the first of their hotels. The Primadonna Resort was the second hotel built, and it was later renamed to the Primm Valley Resort. These two hotels are connected by a single car monorail across the I-15. Buffalo Bill's was the third hotel built.
