Formed as a DJ crew in the mid nineties and originally including 3 members, under the name Flatbush International, which was chosen because of the part of Brooklyn they are from. Rebel Krown was formed by ACP Da Exec, Syxx Figgaz, and Little Kev. Initially the group began doing free parties for their East Flatbush neighborhood out of the basement of their house. Word of the free parties began to spread throughout Brooklyn and more people began coming to the parties entitled "DUBfest."
