Salmo Pallaryi (Paperback)

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Salmo pallaryi was a species of trout that inhabited a single lake in the Atlas mountains of northern Morocco, at higher than 2000 metres altitude. It went extinct in the 1930's, probably because of introduction of common carp in the lake. Only two individuals remain in museum collections. Salmonidae is a family of ray-finned fish, the only living family currently placed in the order Salmoniformes. It includes salmon, trout, chars, freshwater whitefishes and graylings. The Atlantic salmon and trout of genus Salmo give the family and order their names.
