He joined Kyuss after the departure of Nick Oliveri and remained there until the band went on indefinite hiatus in October 1995, when Josh Homme went on to form Queens of the Stone Age. Reeder reunited with former Kyuss singer John Garcia to form Unida, a stoner rock band which only released one full-length album before running into legal problems.
