Its neighbours are Mauji Harisingh, Kumharson and Bagmati river. Population of the village is around 8,000. It is the 2nd largest village in Garhpura block. Presently Mukhiya of this village is Ms. Ramsewak Pal. Begusarai District is one of the thirty-eight districts of Bihar state, India, and Begusarai town is the administrative headquarters of this district. The district lies on the northern bank of river Ganges. Begusarai district is a part of Munger division. It is located at latitudes 25.15N & 25.45N and longitudes 85.45E & 86.36E.
