High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! The Women's Engineering Society (WES) is celebrating its 90th year and has had recently a conference at Surrey University titled the Power of Change. The Society is a company limited by guarantee 162096 registered at Companies House and it a charity 1008913 registered at the Charity Commission. Its purpose has changed over the years and the journal The Woman Engineer has changed to reflect this. In early days it contained technical articles as women could not join the engineering Institutions and now contains articles which give engineers a broad view of work in all the different engineering disciplines.
