The host is actress Halla Vilhjalmsdottir. The judges are talent agent and businessman Einar Baroarson, rock musician Elinborg Halldorsdottir and pop singer Pall Oskar Hjalmtysson. Einar and Pall Oskar were both judges in Idol stjornuleit, the Icelandic version of Pop Idol. The finals were held in Vetrargaroinum (roughly translated as Wintergarden) which is in Smaralind, the largest shopping center in Iceland. Winner of the competition was Faroese singer and hair dresser, Jogvan Hansen.
