Lance (Paperback)

Lance is a continuation of the previous two books Monster Mind and Brothers of the Monster. Those two books are an introduction to this book. Those books did not go into great detail of what made Lance a killer and the influences of his young life. They mostly dealt with the early killings of those that would do him or his family harm. This book incorporates the other two along with much more detail of Lances youth and the major family influences of his young life and the understanding of his gift of touch. Just shaking a persons hand he could feel if a person was evil or good. As he got older Lance's desire to have a strong family surrounding him grew along with his protection of his new family of killers. Lances new family of killers include his boyhood friends Stephen, Donnie and Zo. Their spouses and children. Along with a few other friends that would do what it took to protect the family against anyone who attempted to harm a family member in the most brutal way possible. With the growth of his family Lance's gift also became stronger where he did not even have to touch a person just being close to them allowed him to see and feel their intentions. Lance had come to realize that family is not about blood, race or background. Family is about those that you care about and they also care as much about you regardless of race, color or nationality. To be supportive and be there when needed.
