This musical is set in the Big Band era, and the music is really good. However the plot is a huge disaster, as the main character is a nasty piece of work. He is a chauvinistic bully, so it is difficult to like him. Also the pacing is so slow. I would love to get just the music on a DVD - it does create the era well.
