Effects Of Mass Trapping On The Population Dynamics (Paperback)

My study used mass trapping (placing an attractant-baited trap every 0.30-0.40 ha of land on the island of Rye Key, Florida) in an attempt to reduce biting midge pressure on island residents. This type of trap removal method would be suitable for companies or groups such as homeowner associations, resorts, and theme parks that are able to invest in multiple traps for control in a specific area. The traps that I used in this research project were the Mosquito Magnet(American Biophysics Corporation East Greenwich, RI) MM-Freedom(r), and MM-Liberty Plus(r) traps
