The population was 1,140 at the 2000 census.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), of which, 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2) of it is land and 0.71% is water.As of the census of 2000, there were 1,140 people, 556 households, and 361 families residing in the CDP. The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.98% White, 0.18% African American, 0.79% Native American, 0.09% Asian, and 0.96% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.14% of the population.
