This is a novel on drug traffic, corruption and human passions. The young and beautiful Canadian anthropologist Anik Thibault has been rewarded with a scholarship to carry out her master thesis in the Mexican Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, in Cob, amid the magic and legendary Mayan world. Mrs. Morin, her thesis directress and member of World Transparency, asks her to investigate the identity of Mambo, an anonymous hacker from whom she has received secret information on the nets of drug traffic in the political dome of the government of Quintana Roo. So Anik begins a long trip in which, moved by the desire and the passion toward Hadrian, an attractive journalist, she will discover the past of the Mayan empire and the current life of the natives, as well as the hidden plots of government's corruption and of the drug traffic operation in Mexico and Latin America.
