Thoughts of a Future Cancer Survivor (Hardcover)

For a fleeting second, I was going to call this Thoughts of a Potential Cancer Survivor, but I am an eternal optimist and the optimist in me says I am a FUTURE cancer survivor and I should go with that thought from the start. It started out with a normal colonoscopy that uncovered a small tumor. A CT scan in preparation of an operation discovered spots on my liver. I thought that by sharing some of my thoughts along the way, it would help me get through the ordeal and maybe give someone else some comfort in their trials and tribulations. My thoughts may appear flippant at times but that is how I deal with things like this. I may also downplay some procedures because it makes for a better poem or it just makes me feel better to state it like that. Come join my journey.
