A breathtaking documentary about a French high-wire walker who orchestrated and successfully executed an attempt to (illegally) walk on a wire between the two towers of the World Trade Center, when they were still standing, of course. He walked on the wire without a parachute. Enough said! This film made me feel incredibly good, and without trying to sound mawkish, it rejuvenated my belief in the human spirit and human creativity. It's incredibly well-made, very suspenseful and just superlative! It won several awards and rightly so - it's simply terrific! You HAVE to see this film. Period. Trust me, your life will be so much emptier without it. Extra features: DVD commentary from the filmmakers.
