This fourth volume, [Brazil in the Dutch Archives], encompasses inventories from the National Archive for between 1630 and 1644; inventory 1.0501.01 of the old Dutch West India Company; letters from the Heren XIX; travel journals and the Daily Minutes of the Hoge en Secrete Raad van Brazilie, preceded by a number of articles by Benjamin Teensma. This volume includes many maps from the Bodel Nijenhuis collection in the Leiden University Library.
