Marie Purton married for the second time at Easter 2001 and now lives in Rochford, Essex. She will be fifty in January 2006 and has three children Samantha, James and Sianne. She has written lots of short stories and poems over the years, and her children, who are now all adults, and her husband, Terry, have always encouraged and praised her writing, but when she wrote about Josh, they urged her to send the manuscript to a publisher.
