The Glass Coll. - Two Plays (Paperback)

The Glass Collection includes two plays - Stun and Safe Areas - that deal with the wars in Syria and the Balkans, respectively. The back cover depicts the national hero of Bosnia & Hercegovina and Croatia, Mr Karl Built, in Paris. Mr Built is the element driving through Safe Areas, like a speeding bullet train. The front focuses on the protagonists of Stun - Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Patti Smith. Also, Vladimir Putin and Bashar al-Assad took time to throw in a cameo appearance, although all the killing to do lately has kept them awfully busy. We sure appreciate it. There is no sin but ignorance. Christopher Marlowe put those words in Machiavel's mouth in the beginning of The Jew of Malta. Aping the Great Master, I have brought Robert Mapplethorpe back from the dead - his soul was but flown beyond the sea - to put him to my use, to "view this land, and frolic with his friends." Mr Build is another matter. More like Edward the Second, this dude is. Ambiguity... something... the prayer rug from under ANY orthodoxy. See ya.
