This item seemed a bit light and flimsy compared to my old one which was heavier, but I have been pleasantly surprised to fine that it is a fine coffee maker and robust enough that when I dropped the glass jug in the kitchen sink it never broke. So I am very happy with the coffee maker. Good value for the price.
