Once again, Leela and Meena Rao, cousins and partners in crime, are on the track of a killer. Bureau Chief Kalluri's uncle, architect and art collector, has discovered the murdered body of a young woman bizarrely surrounded by an artwork. The site of the murder is India. The women agree to help Kalluri. They leave their retirement home in Tucson, Arizona, and undertake the long flight to their country of origin India. The city is Kolkata, the killer a connoisseur of art, the victims young women. Just when our elderly sleuths believe they have profiled the killer, the latter's MO changes.
