Tombs at Giza, Volume 2 - Seshathetep/Heti (G5150), Nesutnefer (G4970) and Seshemnefer II (G5080) (Paperback)

Earlier published records of the mastabas at Giza have provided a wealth of information about the art, architecture, history and burial customs of Old Kingdom Egypt; but these records are now proved to be incomplete and to contain some inaccuracies. The purpose of this series is to re-record and publish some of the important tombs at Giza according to modern standards. Volume 2 in the series contains new information about two tombs originally published by Junker, Seshathetep/Heti (G5150), Nesutnefer (G4970), and a third tomb, Seshemnefer II (G5080), which until now has remained mostly unpublished. Several aspects of each tomb are examined in detail, including: the tomb's owner, his family and dependents, the dating of the tomb, architectural features, scenes and inscriptions, colour conventions, and important artefactual finds.
